Epileptic brain

Temporal lobe epilepsy is the most common epilepsy syndrome. It often originates from the temporal lobes which are responsible for processing emotions and memory. It includes, Focal cortical dysplasia ( outer cortex has abnormal development), Cavernomas ( vascular malformations), Subcortical white mater hyper intensities ( blurred grey white interface) and Hippocampal sclerosis ( with cell loss and scarring often at the end folium areas).
